In-N-Out Burger opened a new restaurant Thursday, Oct. 24, in Compton, pushing the fast food chain’s total to 346 locations.

The single-lane drive-thru is at 2200 S. Central Ave., at an intersection with Artesia Boulevard near the 91 freeway.

The restaurant has seating for 77 guests and will employ about 50 people, according to a news release from the Irvine-based company.

Hours will be the same as other In-N-Out restaurants: 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

In-N-Out isn’t currently listing any more Southern California restaurants as “coming soon” on its website. It may be exploring other locations but usually doesn’t announce projects until they are near construction.
